In an effort to attract new audiences and assist music programs in the surrounding area, the Fresno Community Concert Band will play its first “Reach Out to …” concert. This concert will be a repeat of our regular season concert “Super Concert IV” including our guest artists Dale and Katie Engstrom who are both proud Kingsburg natives. This concert is also a fundraiser for the Kingsburg High School Music Program.

This concert will be a super concert filled with super music as the band performs works like “Psalm” by Vincent Persichetti, “La Danza” by Rossini and the usual Sousa march. We welcome Dale Engstrom, Fresno City College Director of Bands who will conduct “Lord, Guard and Guide” by well-known band composer Robert Jager and “Sterling Brass” march by James Barnes. We also welcome his daughter Katie Engstrom who will sing “God Bless the Child,” “For Once in My Life” and “Orange Colored Sky.”
