This year, the band's extraordinary journeys will take audiences to remarkable places, with real and imagined. We begin with a concert that offers a moving and intimate exploration of the transformative power of music therapy. As the holidays approach, join us in celebrating the magic of Christmas through the music that has brought some of our favorite holiday films to life. Jazz enthusiasts will be thrilled by the electrifying artistry of an exceptional father-son duo whose dynamic performances are sure to leave audiences wanting more. Relive the excitement of Soundtracks II, featuring a specially commissioned original work written exclusively for the FCCB and this concert. Enhancing the musical experience, stunning photography will showcase the rich history, culture, and heritage of Fresno and Fresno County. Audiences will also enjoy the energy, passion, and talent of an outstanding high school band. We conclude the season with a powerful and heartfelt tribute to the men and women of our armed forces, honoring their service, sacrifice, and enduring legacy. I look forward to sharing this remarkable season with you and welcoming you to each performance. See you at the concerts!"
Appointment with The Music Therapist
Special Guest:
Miranda Morse, Board-certified Music Therapist

Most people would agree that music can be therapeutic, but that does not make it music therapy. In this concert, you’ll hear music inspired by the core domains, common goals, and frequently used interventions that make up a music therapy session. We are excited to welcome board-certified music therapist Miranda Morse, a member of our flute section, as she introduces us to the fascinating and often little-known field of music therapy.
