Come Be Inspired! - You are invited to join Conductor Bruce Weinberger as he continues to lead the band. Every concert contains both familiar and new compositions chosen especially for the band by the conductor. You will see familiar musicians on stage as well as new members – all gathering together to make music! What an exciting season!

Concert at the Fair

Our outdoor concert at the popular Caruthers Fair is one of our favorite events of the season! Enjoy golden-oldies, marches and popular show tunes amid the sights, sounds, and food at the Caruthers Fair. It’s a fun concert you won’t want to miss!

Dedicated to Leonard Contreras and the lost loved ones during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as all the frontline workers who fought for us.

Journey to the depths of your imagination with the music that will speak to you in new and creative ways! Be inspired as you listen to the captivating Defying Gravity by Reineke and other thought-provoking selections. The band will play some of Leonard’s favorite pieces as well. Performing with the band are the bright and budding
students of the Wind Ensemble from Edison Computech Middle School, led by one of our great trombonists Chuck Salanitro!

Your Season Pass includes a $36 charitable donation, a great way to support the band!
Single Tickets
Due to limited seating capacity, tickets are required for concerts in the Shaghoian Concert Hall and the Fresno City College Theatre.

Concerts in the Shaghoian Concert Hall are $14 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under.

Concerts in the Fresno City College Theater are free, but you must reserve a ticket.

During “Music in Our Schools Month” we invite you to join us for a very special concert featuring students with special needs from Fresno County. Enjoy the floating
melodies of Dancing Kites by Chris Bernotas and the moving tribute to friendship in A Song for Friends. We are pleased to share the stage with such young and talented
musicians!
Jazz and the Great American Songbook
Guest Artist:
Les Nunes, retired music educator, jazz specialist, and professional trombonist

Join us in this special concert featuring Les Nunes playing trombone to Blue Moon, Fly Me to the Moon, As Time Goes By and other big band music. You will be thrilled as he sings Moon River! The band will also perform a special jazz arrangement provided by Les. Les Nunes is well known and respected as a musician not only in the Fresno area but also by many musicians throughout the state of California. You won’t want to miss this celebration of a truly American art form featuring such a talented trombonist!

The story of America unfolds as we honor and commemorate Memorial Day. Experience Eternal Father Strong to Save (“The Navy Hymn”) and Where Never Lark or Eagle Flew by James Curnow - both reverent and moving works. Performing the American Flute Salute is our special guest soloist, John Barcellona, Professor of Flute Emeritus at CSU Long Beach. Join us as we remember our fallen heroes.
